Kevin Carey

Kevin retired after 20 years with the U.S. Army, all based at Fort Bragg in North Carolina. He spent the majority of his career as a Green Beret, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division, 3rd Special Forces Group, and USASOC HQ. During that time he accumulated over five years deployed to the Middle East, Central Asia, and West Africa, and instructed climbing and rope rescue techniques while on active duty. Since leaving the military, Kevin has worked in search and rescue and as a ski patroller. An avid climber, he has significant personal experience across the Eastern U.S., the Middle East, the Cascades, and the Rockies; and, guides climbers throughout the United States.
