Peak Rescue Cancellation and Tuition Refund Policy

Peak Rescue values the scheduling needs of our students and has established a flexible cancellation policy to accommodate these changes. It is important to the quality of the class that it is full, and we appreciate your cooperation in adhering to the following policy.

Applicant Right to Cancel

  • 30 Days Prior to First Day of Class: If written notification and a request for refund are received by Peak Rescue 30 days prior to the first day of class, a refund will be issued.
  • Less than 30 Days Prior to First Day of Class: Peak Rescue is unable to offer a refund for a cancellation received less than 30 days prior to the first day of class, with two exceptions:
  • Full Refund: A full refund will be issued if the enrollment has been transferred to another student from the same organization or if approved by Peak Rescue upon written request. Written notice of the intent to transfer or request for refund, receipt of the new student’s enrollment form and payment, or approval from Peak Rescue, is required before the refund will be issued.
  • Substitution: Substitutions of personnel are acceptable with prior notification.

Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time frame of receipt of written notice of the change in the applicant’s registration status.

Peak Rescue Right to Cancel

Peak Rescue retains the right to cancel a class at any time due to circumstances beyond its control. In such an event, Peak Rescue is responsible for the reimbursement of the full registration fee. Please keep this in mind when making additional commitments related to the class, such as airplane, hotel, and car reservations, as Peak Rescue will not be responsible for reimbursement of any such charges. In the event of cancellation, Peak Rescue will use its best efforts to give prompt notice.

Team Cancellation:

In the event that a contract course for a team is canceled, the registrant will be responsible for the full cost of the class. The same terms apply as for the 30-day cancellation policy.

Date Change Policy:

Should a course date need to be changed within 30 days of the scheduled course, the registrant will be responsible for the travel costs incurred by Peak Rescue, up to $10,000.

Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk

All applicants are required to complete and sign a Class Registration Form, which includes a Voluntary Release of Liability and Notice of Assumption of Risk, prior to the beginning of instruction.

Legally Binding

The terms of enrollment are legally binding when signed by the applicant and accepted by Peak Rescue. The applicant must be 18 years or older to attend a Peak Rescue class.
